This sounds a little cheesy and also something that would not be easy to do, but just follow some ground rules and you would be good to go. As for what these ground rules are, just keep your eyes wide open and your ears all up and watch out people who bet a bit too much and too hard, players who call every second chance they get, or players who fold at the drop of a hat.
How hard is it to keep a track of this? There now, you have all their weaknesses broken down to the basics, now depending on the cards you draw, the profits you want out of the game, the next move you are anticipating, make a call and use the information you have absorbed to the best of your abilities. Take a ride on their emotional turns at each and every turn, turn their mistakes into your gains and most of all keep winning!
Myths Busted
There is a widespread belief that a game full of rocks, where in people who play very few hands and are, by nature, extremely tight players can never be taken advantage of. I do not need to stress on the fact that this is total rubbish. Rocks, do fold as many hands as they like just that people apparently do not notice, they do it the smart way.
They give up the positive expected value for a reduction in variance. This is where lie their weakness and this is where people fail to exploit their chance with them.
If sitting in a game where only 20 to 25% are seeing the flop every hand, you can make a killing by developing your skills in a shorthanded play, so also by developing solid, aggressive blind stealing skills.
Myth 2 :
People also believe that a game full of maniacs where in people who play, as the name suggests, like maniacs and are extremely loose players, can never be taken advantage of either! Needless to say, this is again a myth and it is high time it is busted!
Maniacs are believed to do just the opposite of what the rocks do and play far too many hands and, most significantly, they play their hands almost always the wrong way.
They make mistakes left, right and centre. Sitting in a game where 4 or more players are capping the betting before the flop, simply waiting for premium hands and getting in there and betting with them, one would get paid off when one gets big hands. Do not get ensnared in there with insignificant hands or you will be forced to fold which means you will have to give up all those preflop bets and that when the flop does not even hit you.
