Bertrand Grospellier was born February 8th, 1981 in France. Bernard is a pro gamer as well as a professional poker player from France who has won both a World Poker Tour (WPT) and a European Poker Tour (EPT) title. Bertrand is also a team PokerStars Pro and is currently residing in London, England.

Bertrand has been known as one of the top ranked Starcraft players in the entire world. He has placed second in the World Cyber Games in 2001 and continued his career in South Korea in the years that followed by placing 4th for finish in Ongamenet Starleague. Bertrand had picked up the newly released WarCraft III Region of Chaos and was very successful by coming in second place during the televised Ongamenet WarCraft Retail league before he final retired his online gaming profession.

After retiring from his professional gaming career, Bertrand moved his attentions to professional poker, and has shown just as much success if not more on this circuit. Bertrand qualified for several events in the 2006 and the 2007 World Series Poker. Bertrand is also a member of Team PokerStars and was the first person to reach “SuperNova” and “SuperNova Elite” statuses n PokerStars. Betrand received the notorious status by earning 100,000 in just two weeks and 1,000,000 player points in just 4 and ½ months.

As of 2008, Bertrand’s total live tournament winnings exceed $4,100,000.
Bertrand finished in second place in the Copenahgen event during the European Poker Tour (EPT) in 2007 and walked away with 309,000 Euros. The second place win was a great accomplishment but in 2008 Bertrand went on to win first place at the European Poker Tour (EPT) PokerStars Caribbean Poker Adventure where he won a cool $2,000,000.

Betrand continued to add to his winnings by taking the first place prize of $1.4 Million in the World Poker Tours Festa al lago Tournament. This win was the first cash that Bertrand had taken on the World Poker Tour. Betrand went on to become the third person to win the title on both the World Poker Tour (WPT) and the European Poker Tour (EPT).
