Bruno Fitoussi was born September 21st, 1958 in Paris, France. Bruno is a professional poker player based in Paris, France today. He was first seen televised in the original Late night Poker show where he finished in 7th place in his heat that included Surinder Sunar, Peter “The Bandit” Evans, and Donnacha O’Dea.
Bruno won the World Heads Up Poker Championship in 2001 by beating out Amarillo Slim in the grand final. Bruno finished in 8th place in the First World Poker Tour (WPT) Championship in 2003 and also finished 15th in the $10,000 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main event.
As Bruno continued his climb up the ladder of the professional poker circuit, he was making a name for him self as a very strong and competitive player. In 2005 he finished 2nd in the $1500 seven card razz event and in 2007 went on to finish in 2nd place in the $50,000 World Series Of Poker H.O.R.S.E. event where he was defeated by Freddy Deeb, but earned a cool $1,278,720 for his hard days work.
As of 2008, Bruno has walked away with a total live winnings that exceed $2,200,000.
Besides professional poker, Bruno has worked as an architect and plays the stock market for further investment in to his earnings. Bruno has worked as a music publisher and producer and is currently the president of VIP Gaming.
Bruno is a family man and when not working you will find him spending time with his wife Isabelle who is a fashion designer for Kenzo and their two children, Jason-Bowie, and Fleur-Ilana.
