Johnny Lodden was born in Jørpeland, Norway in the year of 1985. He is a professional Norwegian poker player who has competed in and beaten the biggest games on the internet. Lodden was widely known for his success in online poker games, and was once sponsored by Betsson.com. He played by the name “bad ip” frequently on Prima Network high stakes games. These games had up to $40,000 buy INS and for a short time he was considered the biggest winner in the largest online cash games in the world, this was before full tilt poker expanded to include larger games. He has also played on poker starts under the name of “Lars-Magne”, and he is sponsored by poker stars today.

Lodden lost his entire bankroll and had to retire his old bad ip account and completely restart from scratch with a stake from one of his friends. He admitted this in August of 2007 when he was doing an interview with the Danish poker journal Acemag, but will not say exactly how much his bankroll was when he lost it, although it is estimated to be somewhere in the region of $10.000.000.

He has had one first place finish and this was on December 3rd 2004 when Lodden played in the St.Maarten Open no limit hold’em and brought home a prize of $26,430. He came in 17th place at the EPT Monte Carlo Grand Final on April 17th 2008 while playing no limit hold’em and won a prize of $60,682. On November 1st 2008 he played at the EPT Budapest, came in 8th place, and won a total prize of $75,293. Johnny Lodden won a large amount of $107,802 at the 2008 World Series of Poker Europe on October 2nd 2008 when he came in 11th place, all of which he was playing no limit hold’em.

He is ranked  966th in the All Time Money List, 12th on the Norway All Time Money List, 61st in the Scandinavia All Time Money List, and 334th on the WSOP 2008 Money List.  Lodden’s Bluff Power Ranking is 614. His 2007 POY rank is 2,026, and his 2008 POY rank is 427.
As of the year 2008 his total live tournament winnings exceeds $350,000. Johnny Lodden has had great success in his poker games all around the world, and it is easy to see that he is a valuable player to the poker game today.
