Starting out Small, Then Taking it All!

Chister Johansson was born July 30th in Stockholm. Christer is a professional sports better and professional poker player based in Malmo. Christer began playing draw poker as a young kid with his family but in his professional career he has been more focused on Texas Hold’ em. When he was a small boy of ten years old, while playing poker with his dad and his friends Christer raised from the ten cent ante game to $50 and then turned to his dad to ask for a loan, his father reluctantly agreed to the loan but on the condition he thought he would teach his son a valuable lesson in betting, Christen won that pot and this began his career in teaching others a lesson or two in betting while he is at the table
Christer Johansson defeated Ross Boatman “Rocky” and won the $1,000,000 ATS first prize at the 2000 Vienna Spring Festival. He later went on to the World Series of Poker to cash for the 1st time in 2002.

February 2003 brought a great year for Johansson as he won the World Poker Tour (WPT) 1st season Grand Prix de Paris event as he took home $500,000 of first prize money. Christer defeated the final table that included Tony G, and Allen Cunningham.
Johansson finished second in he European Poker Tour second season (WPT) Barcelona Open in 2005 where he showed more stamina and cunning than Gus Hansen and Patrik Antonius at the final table.

You may have also noticed Christer Johansson park himself at a table during the World Heads-Up Poker Championship and at the William Hill Poker Grand Prix.
As of 2008, Johansson’s total live winnings have exceeded $1,300,000.
Christer Johansson is not only a professional poker player as well as sports better, he is one of the owners of the online poker web site PokerDucks.com. Johansson is married and has one daughter, he was a former electrician who now considers himself an online poker enthusiast.
