I drop by because I wanted to ask a question about dealing 9 handed vs. 10 handed. As of now, we are a 10 handed room and I am trying so hard to explain to my boss all the benefits we will gain – increase in the amount of hands per hour, that would eventually bring more coins for the box, and so on.

Likewise the size of the tables was not matched, the size was very small for 10 handed. Right now, I’m having a hard time explaining the inconvenience to players.

For my question, is it safe to say that the hands strengths become stronger or does that matter? And similarly, with the hands per hour.

Any feedback will be very much appreciated.

Thanks.

Smith,

Hand strengths don’t really change that much due to an extra player. You should point out that with 9 handed tables, you can get more rake for the poker room. This should be a strong selling point.
